Yes, it’s true that Lifetime just finished their own version of this exact same story, Liz and Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan as a young Elizabeth Taylor, but chances are the BBC is going to do it much, much better. For starters, they’ve recruited two great actors to star in Burton and Taylor, who have the distinct advantage of NOT being Lindsay Lohan. The Wire’s Dominic West is Richard Burton while Helena Bonham Carter is finally not starring in a Tim Burton movie in order to play Elizabeth Taylor. West looks and sounds GREAT as Burton, and though I’m less sold
